4 Ways to Get Attendees to Connect, Interact and Return

  1. Offer Value Through Education – Evaluate how much of the content that you are sharing at your event can be implemented right away by an attendee. When the people attending your conference take action and see results they not only will feel they experienced value their success will translate into the success of your event.
  2. Have a Powerful Speaker Lineup – Attendees want real world expertise shared by leaders who have walked in their shoes. When speakers can infuse personal stories that resonate with the audience, the take away is that the attendee’s challenges are understood and they have solutions that they can take back to their company.
  3. Include Planned Networking – Many attendees coming to an event for the first time may not know anyone at the conference. Planning specific ways they can engage with each other is key to making them feel as if they are part of the community. One strategy Breanna’s events include are small table discussions to kick things off so attendees can meet others interested in the same topic and have the opportunity to interact with them.
  4. Create A Community – Offer a place where attendees can interact post-event. One of the most popular platforms for this is in a Facebook or LinkedIn group.  Continuing the dialogue will also help your organization to see feedback, identify any areas where the attendee is getting stuck on a topic and gives you the chance to connect with your target attendee after the event.
